Hannah Kudjoe was among the most influential nationalists of the 1940s and 1950s, serving as National Propaganda Secretary for the Convention People's Party.
She organised rallies and raised funds, and was central to spreading political awareness while the Big Six were imprisoned in 1948. After independence she founded the All-African Women's League.
